📢 Important Update: Hoopla Service ending May 31, 2026

Eastern Shore Regional Library has announced that Hoopla will no longer be available starting June 1, 2026.

While Hoopla has been a valued service for many Queen Anne’s County Library patrons, its “pay-per-use” model has become increasingly costly and is no longer sustainable for our library system.

We understand this may be disappointing, and we want to reassure you that providing high-quality digital resources remains a top priority.

What You Need to Know:

  • If you’d like to save your Hoopla history or favorites, please do so by May 31, 2026.

  • Access your lists in the Hoopla app under “My Hoopla” → “History” or “Favorites.”

  • We recommend taking screenshots or writing down titles, as the library cannot access or recover your account data.

Explore These Great Alternatives:

  • Libby (OverDrive): Continue enjoying a wide selection of eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines. A new “Lucky Day” collection—with skip-the-line popular titles—is coming soon.

  • Blackstone Unlimited (Coming Soon): Unlimited, on-demand access to a large collection of audiobooks.

  • Kanopy PLUS Packs (Coming Soon): Stream curated collections of movies and documentaries with no tickets or credits required.
