What is Summer Reading?

The Queen Anne’s County Summer Reading Program occurs each June - August. Using our Summer Reading theme as a guide, we had programs, book clubs, events, and reading challenges encouraging participation for people of all ages and interests. Summer Reading is for everyone from birth to adult to join in the fun! Summer Reading 2026 themes and how to participate will be announced Spring 2026.

All Summer Reading events are open to the public, with no registration required. Just come out and participate in the awesome Summer Reading activities we have planned.
