The Library is governed by a Board of Library Trustees composed of no more than 14 members.  A Board member is appointed to a three year term and may serve no more than two consecutive terms. Those interested in becoming a board member may contact the Board at BoardofTrustees@qaclibrary.org.

The Board meets every fourth Monday with a few exceptions noted below. When possible, meetings alternate between the Centreville and Kent Island Branches. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Branch’s meeting room.  Minutes of meetings are available for the public’s perusal.
