The Board of Trustees of the Queen Anne’s County Library is actively seeking two new members to fill vacant board seats.

The  QACL Board of Trustees is the library’s governing body and is comprised of volunteers representing all areas of the county. Trustees come to their volunteer roles with a range of experiences and backgrounds and a strong desire to ensure the long-term vitality of our public libraries. Meetings, which are open to the public, alternate between the Kent Island and Centreville branches.

Finalist interviews will occur in September, with the Board of Trustees vote on new members held at its September 29 meeting. A board member’s term is three years with the option of renewing for two additional three-year terms. Terms will commence in October. For more information, visit https://www.qaclibrary.org/board.
